Engine Features

- Speech can be included if requested, and users will find easy to use speakers which with a single click will play speech for the paragraph next to the icon which will flash to indicate a speech file is playing.
- A glossary can be viewed letter-by-letter and terms within the text can also be highlighted so with a click the users can produce a popup box with the selected word or phrase explained, which can then be closed with a subsequent click.
- References within the course allow learners to view other relevant parts of the course or extra information (e.g. appendices) automatically/instantly and return to the original page they were viewing.
- The database recognises individual learners and gives tutors full access to progress and results while allowing learners to print their own progress reports.
- Four question types (multiple choice, true/false, multiple selection and type-in answers) can be used in timed or untimed exams, tests and quizzes.
- Pictures, diagrams and illustrations can be used within the course and in test questions and answers
- Interactive environment allows learner to type in answers.
