Accreditation

The First Steps on your computer course is now accredited by ASET and incorporates First Steps^XP and Quick Start. This means it can be used within communities simply as an entry level introduction to basic IT skills or it can lead to the ASET Award.

The course comes under cost weighting factor B as it has 10 guided learning hours and is eligible to pull down non-mandatory funding from the LSC.

The examination is electronic and accepts answers based on XP and earlier operating systems making the award a suitable learning outcome to either First Steps^XP or Quick Start courses.
